Cheryl

The goal for this project was to gain a bit of experience shooting portraits.  All of the images here are of my friend Cheryl.  After we were done burning up 5 rolls of black & white, we did a quick roll of color just for fun.

All of the black and whites were hand printed.  The color image was commercially developed, then scanned and modified in Photoshop to get the final image you see.  I have many more images of Cheryl that have not yet been printed.  These types of images are ones that I would like to do a lot more of in the future.  This was probably the most rewarding project I have done to date.

I am considering doing a full project based around faces.  If anyone (male or female) wants to volunteer to sit down with me for a couple hours, I'll gladly offer you custom prints in exchange for your time.  Email me if you are interested.

If you're interested in seeing any of these images in person, please ask me.  I'll be glad to show them to you.  The scans DO NOT do them justice.  As always, if you want to make any comments, or have any questions, feel free to email me at damon@zirkler.com.
